SRS airbags are replaced as needed and the modules are send to outside companies to restore the units back to factory specs, the system is then scanned for errors and codes. It is the the responsibility and requirement of buyer to have a professional inspect the vehicle for safety prior to registration. We are not airbag / safety systems professionals nor do we claim to be - airbags do fail - even on brand new vehicles. We are not capable to test airbags for safety, since we are told the only way to test them is to actually deploy them. The only thing we can do is replace them with other original airbags and then send the SRS Modules to be restored to factory original, then we run a scan for errors and malfuction codes and disclose our findings to the buyers. The vehicle's electronic systems will scan the system, and if there are any errors or malfunctions, the airbag lights will turn on to notify you. It is highly recommended to have the system fully checked by a professional or at the Ford Dealerships. We do not guarantee performance of these systems.
